The Ganzo Firebird G8012 is a great all round bushcraft survival knife. Blade material for the F803 is 8CR13 steel which is one of the most quality stainless alloys. This alloy has 58HRC hardness. Its thickness is 5mm, which provides a significant margin of safety. The length of the blade is 115 mm. F803 model can help you to prepare fish you have caught or prep other food and also carry out auxiliary work. Its blade is unusual in that it has a black coating made with a special powder paint. The handle for the F803 model is made of ASB thermoplastic. It is a very strong material that is well protected from various types of corrosion, easily tolerates contact with water, There is also a glassbreaker at the butt which can be useful in emergency situations. An important element of the kit is the sheath for the Firebird F803 knife. It’s made of plastic and nylon, easily adjustable in length, so that the knife inside is seated as tightly as possible. On the front side of the sheath is where the firesteel is stored and on the back side you can find a small diamond sharpener, which will always help maintain the proper sharpness of the blade, The sheath also has a strap-cutter which also makes this kit handy for survival issues.
